Your Support is Needed for These Children's Summer
Please pray about sponsoring some of our interns or these precious children for this summer. We are hoping to hire 10 college interns this summer at the cost of $5,000 each to stay in Montgomery the entire summer serving in our MAP Youth Navigation Summer Enrichment Program. In addition to interns, we are hoping to raise $500 per child for a total of 200 children to be in our summer enrichment program (8 weeks, 8 hours per day for 5 days a week). Plus, our after-hours teens program from 6 pm to 11 pm every evening throughout the summer. In total, we need and hope to raise $150,000 by May 26th, 2024.
Most of the children we serve live in high-crime communities. Most of their parents work double shifts throughout the summer just to provide for their families. Without our program, most of these children will be left to the negative influences of the streets. Some may not make it through the summer alive without this community-based program.
We have built a fun, intriguing, healthy, safe, and godly environment for children to learn and thrive throughout the summer. We are engaging certified teachers, college interns, and loving senior citizen groups to walk alongside inspiring and encouraging our children throughout this summer.
